Stiffs; a play set in a morgue (Edinburgh fringe review)

When you walk into the show the two characters are under white sheets with tags on toes which poke out. From the name of the show Stiffs and the description you know they are supposedly dead in a morgue. But are they dead? They look pretty lively during the play! Are they ghosts? Are they mistakenly in the morgue? Is it all a dream?

The setting does not sound like it should be funny but, the audience laughed lots!

It one of those plays where your questions remain unanswered. You walk out having laughed lots but unsure whether they were ghosts or alive. One other strange aspect is why they do not try to escape – does that confirm they were ghosts / dreaming?
