Jumpers for goalposts (Fringe review)

Set in the changing rooms of a five a side football team where there is lots s of dramas; a first ever kiss, grief, birthday celebrations, confession regarding HIV and more! Despite covering series issues, there were laughs throughout.

In particular, the character of Jeff was a comedy character. Jeff was reminiscent of Rhys Ifans’ character in Notting Hill, he wore a woolly hat with neck ties throughout. He was trying to find the perfect song to sing at Pride.

Full of suspense with three narrative questions;

  • Would love blossom and survive?
  • What song would Jeff sing?
  • Where would the team finish in the league?
