Dear Lucy; wartime (Edinburgh fringe review)

A touching true family story written and performed by members of The late Lucy’s family. The show is based on letters from written during the 1st world war, that were found after Lucy’s death. The story is told using a variety of mediums; dance, song, acting and audio recordings. The show starts 100years ago, the year the war ended. However in 1918 before the war ended, Lucy’s brother and fiancé were killed. The show takes Lucy three these deaths, the subsequent death of her Father due to the flu epidemic in 1919 and beyond to moving on with her life it is a fascinating period of history.
