Same book, different cover #06

The Cactus by Sarah Haywood

Cactus 1                                                                     Cactus 2

I agree I like 2 best.

Only Child by Rhiannon Navin

Only Child 01 Only Child 02

Disagree, I like 1 best, although not most exiting coverbut for me 2 is even less exciting because really plain.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

A Man Called Ove 01 A Man Called Ove 02

I’m not sure on this. I kind of like that cover 2 is brighter and has faces on. However, the man on cover 2, is grumpy, it puts me off. To be fair, I have previously read the blurb for A Man called Ove and don’t want to read it. If I was forced to choose I would say cover 2; but please do nt force me to read it!

The Woman Before Me by Ruth Dugall

The Woman Before Me 04 The Woman Before Me 03 The Woman Before Me 02 The Woman Before Me 01

All the covers look bland; greys and blacks. Agree though  that face looking at me, on cover 1 with  the eyes. Also the solid black is the highest impact of the backgrounds.

Winter People by Jennifer McMahon

Winter People 01 Winter People 02

Agree both good covers. I disagree and say perfer 2, because more colour. Albeit colur used sparingly for impact. there is lights from house making it look warm in amonst the cold. The red over the O is like blood and suggests something shocking happens to the cosy set up in that house. Not sure what the little bit of red in house is.

I’m back with 5 new book covers for you to pick and choose your favorite one. This is just for fun so there are no wrong answers! OK, I’ll go first:

The Cactus by Sarah Haywood

The Cactus 01  Cactus 02

I kind of like both covers but if I really neeeed to choose I’ll go with cover 2. I like how the title of the book is written in a cactus shape 🙂

Only Child by Rhiannon Navin

Only Child 01 Only Child 02

Cover 2. It’s the one I read so I’m naturally attracted to that one. I like more abstract covers more as well probably.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

A Man Called Ove 01 A Man Called Ove 02

Cover 1, without a doubt. The guy on the second one looks so drab, he doesn’t attract me at all and I’d walk right past this one!

The Woman Before Me by Ruth Dugall

Lots to choose from and that makes it even…
