Walk from Buckingham Palace, through Green Park to Hyde Park Corner

Buckingham palace including changing of the guard

Green park

Around Hyde Park Corner are monuments to war / peace.

This one is to mark New Zealand support for Britain in wars. It looks very simple at first, but when you wander through the posts, you see they are decorated with quotes and etchings. It would be great for anyone who likes doing brass rubbings.

The gate itself has an angel representing peace and horses representing war. I climbed to the top; you could see the London eye and the road leading down the side of Buckingham palace.

Other monuments at Hyde Park Corner.
