Gimson: George Grenville

Kept the unpopular cider tax brought in by predecessor Lord Bute. He also introduced other taxes to try and recoup what his brother in law William Pitt was spending on war with France, which Grenville found shocking.

He also made himself unpopular with King George III who felt harassed by Grenville and forced him out within 2 years.
