Gimson’s Prime minsters; Brief lives from Warpole to May

Just started reading this post. In order to aid my understanding I will post summaries.

Robert Warpole invented osition of prime minster in 1721 and served for 21 years. This cane about because the King at the time George I lived in Hanover and did not speak much English, so he needed someone to look after Britain.

In 1722, George II became King he did not want Warpole. However, George needed money from the government and Warpole got the civil list passed.

Warpole resigned in 1942. Three years later he died due to a complication resulting from Kidney stones.
