April Photos

Pictures that have been in my camera roll, this month. Many have featured in posts this month.

Ann Baur who is featured in the book, I have been reading called Century Girls, who turned 104 on 4th April.

Two days after trying to reach Doncaster walking, I made it to Doncaster by train on 1st April.

I took this post box of the quirky postbox outside Sheffield cathedral after I had eaten at the blue moon cafe next to the cathedral.

I had cheese and broccoli bake then our cow molly chocolate ice cream.

Received a lucky dip package through the post from Lucy Locket.

Did a tour of Naked people sculptures.

Refound an elephant.

Had another Godiva hot chocolate.

Bought the bag below from Primark for £1. Another book haul.

As part of Sunshine Tag, saved the banner and needed a picture of Sairose Ronan and dug out a picture I had taken whilst walking Green gables in the Lake District.

As companies with 250 people or more revealed, their gender pay gaps, I looked various companies including the National trust and various football clubs up.

Did a Guernsey literary and potato peel pie society flat lay.

By mid April, it started to look a bit more like spring. I walked through Sheffield botanical garden on Grand National day, drank a hot chocolate at Cocoa and had a pedicure.

Thursday 19/ Fri 20th attended several lectures as part of #24HrInspired.

These two days were gorgeous weather. Morning of 20th Al fresco breakfast.

Saw a verge of white daffodils.

I also had white daffodils in my garden. Think bought the daffodils and tulip bulbs in Amsterdam last year.

Sent a surprise package to my nephew and niece.

Snooker returned to Sheffield.

As well as reading and seeing the film Guernsey literary and potato peel pie society. I looked up Guernsey lighthouses.

I took part in another of Belgium reviewers comparing covers posts. I liked this one. It looks simple, but when you look closer, you see there is also mountains there with a person.

I received a voucher for a massage for the steps I did in March.

I had a good seat for Ed Miliband.

I won 2nd prize in 6 word story competition.

Sheffield got a new observation wheel.

I did a clothes swap. I swapped purple dress for lots of clothes.

England has a new prince; Prince Louis Arthur Charles. In May a royal wedding when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marry.
